Thank you for your interest in becoming a Neurodiversity Family Coach! We are honored and excited to support your goals of embracing and uplifting the neurodiverse community through coaching.
Neurodiversity Family Coach training provides 85 hours of coach-specific training with an emphasis on working with individuals and families with neurodevelopmental differences. Coaches who successfully complete our program can earn Neurodiversity Family Coach certification after 10 hours of coach mentoring. The program and mentoring are designed to prepare students to apply for ICF ACC certification through the Level 1 accreditation program, upon meeting the ICF requirements.
Instruction includes:
60 synchronous on-line class hours over 20 weeks (6 months)
5 asynchronous, observed coaching practice sessions
20 hours of independent study including reading of texts and research papers and formulation of a class project.
The course provides coach-specific, evidence-based training on coaching presence, core competencies and ethics as defined by the International Coach Federation (ICF.) The program merges the latest evidence-based neurodevelopmental disability research and clinical practice with best-in-class ICF-endorsed coaching methodologies to equip our coach-graduates to support and uplift individuals and families to live their best neurodiverse lives.
